Atlas Sound or Nick Griffin? Hmm…

Every sinew in my body is screaming out at me to launch into a stirring off-the-cuff attack on serial scumbag Nick Griffin (who has just blundered and fake laughed his way into the book of “The Most Laughable And Incompetent Politicians of 2k9)(I think he’s the page after Gordon Brown), but I’m so sure that it will come out sounding like poorly planned drivel that I’ll have to abstain on that one… If you are, at this point, entirely confused as to the direction of this post, you’re probably not British. Anyway, I suppose that this is a music blog so, you know, I should probably get down to talking about that “music” that I intended to. Boo! Here’s a quick introduction to another one of the albums that is preventing 2009 from only being a year which will be remembered for idiotically greedy bankers, and the rise and subsequent fall of Nick “Dick” Griffin.

Artist: Atlas Sound

Album: Logos

For Fans Of: Animal Collective, “authenticism” as an arousing trait of an album, bi-polar disorder in musical form, being genuinely carefree (not just getting drunk with your friends), referring to successful people as “the establishment”, putting some effort into a record and getting a lot more out, music as art, records being really GREAT (not just good).
