Not Many Experts

For a band that has been featured on Stereogum, there’s very little information floating about the interwebs concerning How To Dress Well. Try to Google them and you’ll be greeted by the revolutionary advice that you should wear clean and ironed clothes that fit you if you want to engage in what was once romantically known as “rumpty tumpty” with someone of the opposite sex (irrelevant as it is). The little that we do know is that they are from Brooklyn. Inevitable.

I’d love to be able to properly describe this music, but the truth is that I can’t, and I’m not going to make the common mistake of making a pretentious fool of myself by trying to say “hazy” and “dreamy” 100 different ways. In actual fact, that’s almost the greatest compliment I could pay them. All I should say is that I’ve currently got 300 songs sitting in iTunes’ “Recently Added” and another 1200 words of a history essay to write, yet I’ve bothered to take out 30 minutes from my life to share this song with you. If you’re even remotely interested in White Hinterland, Panda Bear, Atlas Sound et al, then “Ready For The World” is going to jump out and grab you. Trust me.
