Never, Never Again, Amen.
It’s so tempting to say “we were wrong.” The video to The Drums’ debut single on their new label. Jonathan Pierce jerking around like the last person on Earth you would want to sit down and buy a pint with. Or even just sit down with. Sure, the music isn’t seminal, but it’s not bad either, it’s just that if you’re a band who goes around saying that image is as important as music, then you can’t go around looking like complete twats, really. Bloody hypocriticisers.
But then, we shouldn’t forget those more promising days.
And probably realise that judging a band by one song is an embarrassing crime. The album is dropping soon, and only then will anyone be able to say with any conviction “we were wrong”. Plus, The Drums’ new track “It Will All End In Tears” has raised anticipation above the piss-warm hopes that followed “Forever And Ever, Amen”. In the wise, wise words of Diamond Rings; wait and see.

Love the new song. I mean, i get what you are saying about him not looking like a particularly friendly guy, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t look cool does it? After all, image is all about being “cool”, not about looking friendly or interesting.

Tie your laces of both boots as well as walk around. Stand to the balls of your feet. If your feet do not move around an excessive amount and your heel won’t slip, then you in all probability have the right fit.
