Scrappy London four piece Splashh are making waves in the music industry at a frighteningly fast pace. It might take all of thirty seconds of the gritty “Need It” to work out why; it’s a joyful, youth-exuding stroll through some of the best moments of recent guitar music, taking the melody of The Vaccines and the nostalgic fuzz of Yuck to come out with something that’s arguably more than the sum of its parts, and definitely an early contender for one of the singles of the year. “Need It” now has a hectic video to accompany it as well, and the single itself will be released by the hype attracting Luv Luv Luv label on July 30th.
